SC holds elections, Bambo is new president

The students of Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. elected the officers of the RILI Student Council (SC) for SY 2014-2015, June 23. Jemhyr Bambo from the League of Future Leaders (LFL) party won the presidential race. He won against fellow senior Amie Arcilla from the The Future Leaders Towards Academic Excellence (TFL) party.

Other elected officers are Ma. Salve Timwat, Vice President; Janne Gladys Tiosen, Secretary; Danna Ericka Mapalad, Treasurer; Hannah Joyce Desoloc, Asst. Secretary; Maui Encarnacion, Asst. Treasurer.

Duly elected class presidents (or vice presidents should the president become elected in a higher position) are also ex officio members of the SC as class representatives. They are Therice Junel Nogrado (Grade 4), Lyn Rianne Ignacio (Grade 5), Denise Pandacan (Grade 6), Mark Herson Vargas (Grade 7), Jomareen Estrada (Grade 8), King Rowan De Castro (Grade 9), and Arjay Hagosojos (Year IV).

The officers were proclaimed June 26 during the school's morning activity.

The SC's first activity was an acquaintance party for the high school students held July 4. The induction of officers were also held at the event.
