Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) is an institution that caters to the educational needs of students in the pre-school, elementary, and secondary levels in Pila, Laguna and its neighboring towns.
The school aims to prepare Pila's youth not only for secondary or tertiary education but to ultimately be an integral part of a developing community. Students of RILI are taught using methods that nurture not only their skills and intellect but also their values. The school believes that education is process that involves both the teachers and the students.
In 1998, upon the resolution of the school board headed by Mr.
Ernesto Añoso, Little Rainbow Learning Center (LRLC) was created to
cater to preschool children. At that time, the school was based at the
annex building of Pila Church of Christ in Bonifacio St. A total of 29
students enrolled in the three preschool levels opened in the first year
of the school. In the beginning, there was only one classroom available
so classes were held at different times. This, however, did not become a
problem as all these classes were handled by the administrator, Mrs.
Miriam Añoso, with her wide experience in preschool education.
By SY 2003-2004, the school population has reached a considerable size. It has also started offering elementary courses. In order to give quality education to its students, the school moved from its small place in Bonifacio St. to its present site in Rizal St, Pila, Laguna.
In 2008, the school celebrated its 10th anniversary and held its first graduation day for elementary students. It was a testament to the school's dedication to educating the youth. And this dedication was only getting stronger as the school opened its secondary levels in that same year. The name of the school was also changed to its present name Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI).
At present the school is further expanding its reach by offering education to other places. For SY 2010-2011, RILI has offered preschool courses in Concepcion, Tarlac.
Government Recognition
Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (Pila, Laguna) is fully recognized by the Department of Education with recognition No. K-056, s. 2003 for its Pre-Elementary Courses, No. E-028, s. 2006 for its Elementary Courses, and No. 014, s. 2010 for its Secondary Courses.
