RILI invests new scouts

Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) held the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) investiture ceremonies, Sept. 28, at the school grounds. Scouter Rosalinda Ravelas, District Field Adviser for GSP and principal of Linga Elementary School officiated the investiture.

The program started with the entrance of colors and the entrance of scouters headed by the administrator Mrs. Miriam Añoso. Selected Grade 6 pupils performed a doxology followed by a short message from the administrator.

Each scout groups presented themselves and recited their pledges. They were then accompanied by the parents and sponsors to attach their pins and put on their kerchiefs while Scouter Ravelas officially proclaimed them as boy and girl scouts.

The Bahaghari Cultural Dance Group, RILI's official cultural dance group, performed during the ceremonies to entertain guests and scouts alike.
