Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) teachers Mr. Ronaldo Morales and Ms. Li Anne Agurin, attended the Basic Training Course for Unit Leaders (BTC) of boy scouts, Aug. 17-19, at Crisanto Guysayko Memorial Elementary School, Nagcarlan, Laguna.

The training was composed of two parts--for boy and senior scout unit leaders and for kab and kid scout unit leaders. Mr. Morales attended the training for boy and senior scouts while Ms. Agurin attended the training for kab and kid scouts.

Participants were taught the basic skills such as reading a compass, knot-tying, and basic survival skills. These skills will be part of the lessons they will give the scouts that they handle. During one of the activities, Mr. Morales' group won the flag-making contest where each group was asked to create their patrol flag.

For SY 2012-2013, Mr. Morales is the school's Year IV adviser, a member of the Student Council Advisory Committee, and the Young Newtons Club's co-adviser while Ms. Agurin is the school's Nursery teacher.
