Elementary pupils tell the audience the benefits of eating vegetables.
Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) celebrated the Nutrition Month with presentations, cook fests and other contests, July 9, at the school grounds.

All students from the Preschool, Elementary, and Secondary departments participated in the annual celebration of the Nutrition Month held every July. This year's theme, "Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain," focuses on the promotion of the use of vegetables and its nutritional benefits.

The program commenced with some opening remarks from the school administrator Mrs. Miriam AƱoso. Then the different contests and their rules were announced. Intermission numbers from the preschool pupils, Grades 1-3 pupils, and Grades 4-6 students were presented in between contests.

Preschool students competed in a vegetable eating contest. The Kindergarten pupils won by eating all the vegetable dishes they brought. Grades 1-3 had the same contest where the Grade 2 pupils won. Grade 2 pupil Brent Matthew Modina won the drawing contest where contestants were asked to draw their favorite vegetable. Adrian Balinas (Grade 6) won the poster-making contest for Grades 4-6 and secondary students.
