RILI Wins District Math Quest

Students of Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) competed and won in different levels of the District Math Quest held Oct. 18 in Pila Elementary School. Therice Junel Nogrado emerged as the champion of the Mathrathon for Grade 1 students.

RILI also received awards in the different levels of the Mathrathon: Grade 2, third place--Francis Dominic Puna; Grade 3, second place--Ron Wesley Gonzales; and Grade 6, third place--Gio Manuel CastaƱeda. Davisson Lucero and Marcus Adriane Balinas represented RILI in the Mathrathon for Grade 4 and Grade 5, respectively.

The District Math Quest also included a Math Super Quiz Bee for Grade 6 and a Sudoku contest. Karell Ann Laluz, from Grade 5, was the winner among private schools in the Sudoku contest and was second overall. Andrea Nicole Gonzales represented RILI in the Math Super Quiz Bee for Grade 6.

Other private schools which participated in the District Math Quest are Colegio Monterei de Pila, Integrated Christian School of Pila, Inc., South Greenville School, and St. Therese of the Child Jesus Academy.

Nogrado will be competing in the Mathrathon in the Division Math Quest on Oct. 25. Nogrado also recently won in the district level HEKASI Quiz Bee for Grade 1 pupils.
