RILI students attend UP SciMath Fair

Elementary and high school students of Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) participated in the SciMath Fair and Exhibits at the University of the Philippines Rural High School (UPRHS) in Bay, Laguna, Oct. 16-17.

High school students attended the event on Oct. 16 where they viewed exhibits and experimental set-ups. Select student from Grade 7 also participated in the Inter-High School Mural Making Contest. The team representing RILI is composed of Marcus Adrian Balinas, Apple Conte, Erilene Bulandres, and Janne Gladys Tiosen.

On Oct. 17, the elementary students visited the fair. They participated in mini-games in some of the booths in the fair.

Three of the elementary delegates from RILI also joined the Inter-Elementary Sci-Spell, a spelling contest. Representing RILI are Jacob Nathanielz Payag, Andrai Jermaine Rumawak, and Hannah Pauline Abela.

RILI teachers attended the free seminar that happened while contests were going on.

The UPRHS SciMath Fair and Exhibits is an annual event organized by the AlGeoTriCS and DTESS clubs. This year's theme is "Innovation and Sustainability: Effective Drivers for a Balanced Progressive Philippines".
