Reyes and Padilla take a bow in the Formal Wear
competition of the Search for Mr. & Ms. Gala 2012.

Herald Reyes and Carmela Joyce Padilla, senior students of Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Gala 2012 during the Gala Night, held Feb. 24 at the school covered court.
Reyes and Padilla competed in the formal wear and talent competitions, as well as in the Question and Answer round. Their popularity also had a bearing in the computation of the final scores as their ranking the in the People's Choice signature sheets were put into consideration.
The People's Choice award was given to Reyes and Padilla. Padilla was also Best in Formal Wear.
Other contestants were Mark Donel de PatiƱo, Kenneth Cyrus Celso, Dianne Karell Mapalad, Bethany Praise Ortiz (Best in Talent), Jemhyr Bambo (Best in Formal Wear, Best in Talent), and Shane Corales.
The Search for Mr. and Ms. Gala is part of the annual Gala Night, a formal event organized by the school aimed to equip students with the necessary skills in socialization and etiquette.
