RILI places 3rd in history quiz

Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. finished in third place at the district level Philippine History Quiz, Oct. 6, at Pansol Elementary School. RILI was among the 15 teams from public and private schools in the district of Pila which competed in the quiz. Each team is comprised by three students coming from Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade 6. 

RILI was represented by Bruce Vincent J. Manalili (Gr. 4), Iona Gabrielle S. de Torres (Gr. 5), and Marchel Timothy S. Mercado (Gr. 6).

The team from Masico Elementary School won the competition while Pook Elementary School placed second.

Individual scores were also noted. A student from Aplaya Elementary School ranked the highest.

Team RILI was coached by Grade 6 adviser Mr. Alexis Melchor Sta. Ana.

RILI takes 2nd place in Pila EsPAAWIT

Grade 5 student of Rainbow Institute of Learning, Inc. (RILI) Kriz Emmanuel O. Opinion took second place in the Pila District EsPAAWIT, Oct. 3, 2017, at Linga Elementary School. The singing contest is part of the Festival of Talents organized by the Department of Education Division of Laguna.

Opinion competed against 13 other contestants from public and private schools in the District of Pila. San Antonio Elementary School won the competition while Pila Central Elementary School landed in third place.

With limited time to prepare, Opinion started practicing only one day before the competition. He sang Rico J. Puno's "May Bukas Pa". The contestants are required to sing Filipino inspirational, religious, or worship songs.

The contest is aligned with the subject Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga or EsP, hence the name EsPAAWIT.
